EVERY match across the Seymour District Cricket Association’s senior competitions was washed out as heavy rain lashed the region on Saturday afternoon.
The rain ruined Kilmore’s perfect start to the season – a draw with Tallarook giving the ladder leader its first blemish.
Kilmore had made a decent start to its innings, recording 4/129 before the match was abandoned after 33 overs.
Ben Dawson was well on his way to a nice innings, making 34 before the covers came out.
Yea Tigers were 3/124 against Broadford and Pyalong was 7/76 against Seymour before play was also called off after 33 overs in both matches.
Next week’s A Grade matches are: Alexandra versus Broadford; Tallarook verus Eastern Hill; Kilmore versus Seymour; Pyalong versus Yea Tigers.
