MACEDON Ranges Shire Council has set its dates and times for meetings for 2021.
The dates were adopted at last month’s council meeting.
All council meetings in 2021 will start at 7pm.
The scheduled council meeting for Wednesday, December 16. has been amended from 6pm to 7pm.
Councillors decided to host a January council meeting next year, scheduled for January 27, 2021.

Council thanks
The newly elected council resolved at its meeting on November meeting to thank all members of the outgoing council for their contribution to the shire.
A notice of motion was passed unanimously to thank the former council comprising Henry Bleeck, Natasha Gayfer, Roger Jukes, Mandi Mees, Helen Radnedge, Andrew Twaits, Jennifer Anderson, Janet Pearce and Bill West for their dedicated commitment to the Macedon Ranges Shire over the past four years.
Former Crs Bleeck, Gayfer, Jukes, Mees, Radnedge and Twaits served one term on council, from 2016 to 2020.
Former Cr Mees was deputy mayor in 2018-19 and 2019-20.
It was former Cr Bleeck’s second term on council, having previously served from 2004 to 2008.
Former Cr Jukes served three consecutive terms on council from 2008 to 2020, and was mayor for the 2012-13 and 2013-14 council terms.
