THE Food Truck Festival is heading to Mernda for a brand new five-day event this week.
Featuring some of Melbourne’s best food trucks, craft beer bar, entertainment and artist markets, the Food Truck Festival will begin this Wednesday, November 15 and run until Sunday, November 19.
Part of the Australian Mobile Food Vendors Group’s (AMFVG) 12 month festival event calendar, the Mernda Food Truck Festival will boast a large line-up with nearly 50 operators on rotation.
The food truck line-up includes Boss Burger and Shake, Blondies Doughnuts, Big Smoke BBQ, Caliko BBQ, Cheese and Bread, Curry Up Now, Greek Trojan Food Truck, Happy Gelati, The Hungry Panda, The Rib Crib, Sultans of Gozleme, Taco Junction, Two Fat Indians and many more.
The Food Truck Park directors, Frank Rusitovski and Dean Trepski, are thrilled to take the event on the road.
“The food truck culture is a huge part of this city, and now we want to share the love of street food in new neighbourhood craving cultural events,” Mr Rusitovski said.
The Food Truck Festival Mernda will be held at Mernda Recreational Reserve from November 15 to 19, entry via Shotters Road (off Plenty Road).
Event trading times are as follows: Wednesday and Thursday 5pm to 10pm, Friday and Sunday 11am to 10pm.
