CIRCUS fever is set to take over the Plenty Ranges Arts and Convention Centre (PRACC), with local children and teens invited to join Circus Nexus across the September holidays with practical workshops.
It serves as an introduction to circus skills and games, with professional coaches on hand to teach kids about juggling, acrobalance and flower sticks. It is designed to build coordination, confidence, strength and social skills.
Sessions are tailored by age group, including a 9am session for 3–5-year-olds, and a teens session at 11:35am, ensuring there is an entry point for children and young people of all levels of experience.
The workshop offers accessible, affordable school holiday activities that get young people active and engaged, suitable for beginners and those with some circus experience alike.
The Circus Nexus Workshop runs at PRACC on Thursday September 24.
