FOR a limited time, the wat djerring Animal Facility is reducing cat adoption fees to help more friendly felines find their fur-ever homes this winter.

From July 18 to August 22, all cats and kittens can be adopted from 20 Companion Place in Epping for half the usual cost.

Rehoming more cats during this period will allow the facility to carry out important refurbishment works, to accommodate future stray and surrender animals.

If you’ve been thinking about offering your warm heart and home to a cat in need, this five-week price reduction is not the only benefit of adopting from Victoria’s first shared services animal facility. All pets are health-checked, vaccinated, microchipped and desexed to ensure a smooth transition into their new environment.

In addition to supporting the animals in their care, the team at wat djerring Animal Facility are experts at matching people with pets that fit their home and lifestyle.

For more information, or to submit an adoption application, go to whittlesea.vic.gov.au/animalfacility or visit the wat djerring Animal Facility during open hours – Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am-4pm; Tuesday and Thursday from 12pm-6.30pm and Saturday from 11am-3pm.

The wat djerring Animal Facility is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
