THE three teenage boys who were charged for the death of Aidan Becker have pleaded not guilty last week in the Children’s Court.
The alleged killers are accused of attacking Mr Becker after he helped a 14-year-old who was being assaulted with a machete at Mernda Train Station on March 6.
Mike Pikos, 18, who was also allegedly involved and is set to face the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court for a committal mention on August 19 and is yet to enter a plea.
The three teenage boys, aged 16 and 17, cannot be named due to their age but will now face a direction hearing at the Supreme Court on August 26, as well as further administrative hearings which would occur before a potential trial.
