OMNIA Community Health (formerly Nexus Primary Health) will receive more than $28,000 through the Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Capital Renewal Fund to upgrade their Wallan and Kinglake sites.
Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes announced the funding last week, part of $20 million handed out statewide, that will be used to update Omnia’s CCTV systems.
Ms Symes said: “These upgrades will support the hardworking staff at Omnia Community Health to provide even better care to our community.”
“We know how important it is for locals to be able to access this specialist care close to home.”
The AOD Capital Renewal Fund helps Victorians access mental health, alcohol, and other drugs treatment in safe, modern spaces.
Since 2018, the fund has delivered $70 million in critical upgrades and refurbishments to mental health and AOD services across Victoria.
