FOR a gold coin donation, there’s something to see and do on Labour Day in Seymour, it’s the annual Show ‘n’ Shine, and with many makes and models of cars, and motorbikes displayed for all ages to admire, the event will be quite the day out.

The Lions Club of Seymour Goulburn and the Seymour and District Car Club have partnered again for this years Seymour Show ‘n’ Shine to be held at The Kings Park Reserve in Tallarook Street, Seymour, on Monday, March 9, from 8am for spectators and 6am for stall holders.

The cost to display a vehicle is $10 and that includes its passengers.

The two clubs are working hard to produce an event that offers the community a fun day out based on previous shows; the Show ‘n’ Shine is the Lions Club major fundraiser and its also a significant event on the car clubs calendar.

There will be around 400 amazing vehicles on display, 65-70 swap meet stalls and a market with a diverse arrange of products to browse.

The silent auction features items donated by local businesses with genuine bargains on offer.

A food court with lots of delicious menus and coffee vans will fill up the food court and live music will be played by Off the Record.

For children, there will be free activities including face painting, a petting zoo, and for the adventurous, there will be a rock-climbing wall.

People of all ages can support the event by purchasing a raffle ticket. There will be $3000 in prizes to be won, and it will be drawn around noon.

Local services will be present with displays and demonstrations, and the Show ‘n’ Shine fairy will be handing out free giveaways.
