DEEP Creek Landcare has announced it will host a family friendly night of music, laughter and community engagement with a bush dance later this month at the Lancefield Park.
The organisers promise a fun night out as Bushwahzee are returning to provide the music and to call out the steps to traditional party dances, including galopede, heel and toe polka, troika, stockyard, bush hubba hubba, bush tango, Pride of Erin, barn dance and the hokey pokey.
The organisers called on attendees to bring their own food and drinks, alcohol is welcome. It is on Saturday, February 28, at The Laurie Green Pavillion, 62 Chauncey Street, Lancefield from 6pm to 9.30pm. The cost is $20 per person and children are admitted for free.
