KILMORE will be represented in the Northern Football Netball League’s division three grand final in the under 19.5 decider, with Bundoora winning its way through to be its opponent on Saturday morning.

The Blues’ crew waited with bated breath on Saturday morning to find out whether their opponent would be the Bulls or Eltham, and it was Bundoora which had a big second quarter to eventually win through by 16 points.

Kilmore comes into the clash in good form, having secured a 43-point win over the Bulls in its last meeting in the second semi-final two weeks ago.

On that occasion, the Blues put the game away early with five goals to one in the opening term to lead by 25 points at the first change, and despite Bundoora fighting hard in the third quarter in particular, three goals to nil in the final term punctuated the morning for the Blues.

Indeed, the winning record of both teams this season suggest that Kilmore should come into the clash as heavy favourites, scoring a 72-point victory under lights in round 13 and a 75-point victory in the clubs’ round eight clash at JJ Clancy Reserve.

A victory for the Blues would give the club a second consecutive year with a premiership on senior men’s grand final day, following the lead of the reserves’ success in 2024.
