AT Friday’s Seymour Racing Club meeting, Seymour-trained four-year-old Camp Cable capped off recent good form with a win.
Since transferring from the Henry Dwyer stable to Lee and Shannon Hope’s, the Cable Bay gelding has rewarded his connections’ patience as he kicked off his current campaign with wins in two trials and jumpouts, and then ran second and third at Wodonga across heavy tracks on June 28 and August 5.
The maiden win came at just his third start.
Border-hoppers were rewarded with wins at Narrandera on Saturday with Seymour trainers Christopher Davis and Matt Ivil scoring wins with Yamato and Platinum Executive, both in maiden events.
