ON SUNDAY Kilmore Women’s team travelled to play Heidelberg West, with perfect footy weather greeting both teams.

Kilmore dominated the first half of the grading match, and despite solid opposition in the midfield they kept the Hawks scoreless to half time, 44-0.

In the third quarter, the Hawks took advantage of sleepy defenders and were able to convert two goals onto the scoreboard to the Blues’s one as the Blues led 51-12.

In the final term, Kilmore switched back on and with better leads regained possession and the third win for their inaugural season. 71-12.

No best players or goalkickers were recorded for Kilmore at the time of production.

Kilmore will now travel to Epping this Sunday.

Wallan also remain perfect, with the Magpies recording a 16-point victory over Epping at Epping Recreational Reserve.

The Magpies led all day, scoring one goal in each of the first three quarters to build a 16-point lead by the final change, with both teams adding two goals in the last term.

Chanelle Marcetic-Vaotangi, Charlie Rice, Hannah Paton, Shayla McAuliffe, Sarah Osbourne and Olivia Gibb were named as Wallan’s best, while Ava Borg kicked two goals.

Wallan will welcome Hurstbridge to Greenhill Reserve this week.
