More than 80 local and regional producers are set to grace the centre plantation of Lancefield’s High Street this Saturday.
Both residents and tourists alike will enjoy all the usual culinary delights of the Lancefield and District Farmers’ Market, such as fresh produce, regeneratively produced meats, free-range eggs, sustainable seafoods, award-winning dairy products, fine wines, preserves, craft beers, seedlings and plants, and stockfeed—just to name a few!
The monthly event will also mark the debut of Wildwood Organics, a certified organic market garden that produces seasonal fruit, vegetables, and honey on a four-acre lot in Clarkefield.
Seasonal produce, such as peony roses and cherries, will be on offer for those ready to embrace the return of the warmer months, while live music, performed by Lancefield musician and vocalist Jarrod Shaw, plus The Sunsets, will keep market-goers entertained.
Seated lunch spaces and tables will be available for those ready to chow down on good food, or for those simply wanting to relax.
Proudly a plastic-bag free event, visitors are reminded to bring their own reusable bags. Friendly dogs are welcome on a leash.
Free face painting will be provided by Jane at Pass-the-Parcel Entertainment.
