This Saturday, the Lancefield and District Farmers’ Market is celebrating 21 years of trading, and visitors to Lancefield can browse at over 85 local and regional producers’ stalls positioned on the lawns under the shady centre strip at High Street from 9am-1pm.
The market is a ‘must go to’ event in the regional monthly market calendar, and the quality and diversity of produce promises something for everyone, and there is even free face-painting for the kids.

Predominantly food based, shoppers can also select from a great variety of plants, trees, seedlings and herbs alongside live poultry and stockfeed located at the heart of the market, and there is plenty of parking.
The market is an initiative of the Lancefield Neighbourhood House, and shoppers are encouraged to bring their own bags, baskets and trolleys as this market is proudly plastic bag free, and friendly dogs are always welcome on-leash.
