Anzac Day is a time for the community to come together and recognise and remember the sacrifice and service of the Australian Defence Force. Again, this year district  towns will stage a wide range of memorial services.

Broadford

March – 9.30am, corner of High Street and Hamilton Street

Memorial service -2pm, Beveridge Community Centre, Lithgow Street

Kilmore

Dawn service – Kilmore Cenotaph, Hudson Park at 6am

March – Step off at 10.45am at 14 Sydney Street, Kilmore service at 9am. Kilmore Kebabs and Kilmore Pizza House will be providing free coffee and tea to ANZAC veterans in Hudson Park.

Pyalong

March – 10.45am, Pyalong General Store

Commemorative service – 11am, Memorial Gardens

Seymour

Dawn service

5.15am – Assembly at the RSL Sub-Branch

5.30am – Departure from the RSL

5.45am – Start of Dawn Service at Seymour Memorial Hospital

6.30am – Dawn service concludes, return march to the RSL, followed by Gunfire Breakfast catered by RSL members with assistance from The Royal Hotel.

Morning service

9.15am – Assembly at the rear of Total Sports

9.45am – Departure from Total Sports car park, marching down Anzac Avenue to the cenotaph

10am- Morning service commences

Tooborac

Dawn service 6.30am at Tooborac War Memorial

Wallan

Dawn service – Hadfield Park at 6am

March – Step off at 8.45am at Queen Street, with a service at 9am

Wandong

Service – Wandong Heathcote Junction Memorial Park at 12 noon followed by a sausage sizzle.

Beveridge

Dawn service – 6am, Club Mandalay

Live music, two-up and a community barbeque gold donation – 12pm

Whittlesea

Dawn service – Arch Memorial at 5.45am

March – Step off corner Church and Fir streets at 2.30pm
