Theft
A hot water system in Kilmore was stolen 8am on Sunday and 6am on Monday.
Unknown offenders approached a home on Malthouse Street, Kilmore, unscrewing the copper tubing before fleing with the hot water system.
In another theft, scaffold planks were stolen from a construction site in Whiteside Street, Beveridge between 7.45am on February 16 and 10am on February 17.
At 11.32am, on February 2, an unknown offender has approached a vehicle parked outside Centrelink on Henry Street, Seymour. The offender removed four LSM Tech Tyre sensors, valued at about $400.
Seeking witness
At about 10.15pm on February 16, a victim was legally hunting rabbits and foxes on a property in the Chum Creek area, between Cunninghams and Arthurs Road.
A vehicle arrived and the occupants got out and threatened to kill the victim.
The victim hid in the bushes while the group searched using a spotlight.
The occupants then continued the search for the victim along Healesville-Kinglake Road.
Police ask anyone who was in the area at the time and has information or dash cam footage, to contact Yarra Ranges Crime investigations at Lilydale on 9739 2300.
Theft of plates
A number plate affixed to a toilet trailer, which was located at a worksite on Editorial Avenue, Wallan, was stolen between September 1 and February 17.
Trailer thefts
Between 8.30pm on February 14 and 6am on February 15 unknown offenders attended a property on High Street, Wallan, and stole a gunmetal grey trailer from the back of a vehicle. The trailer contained a toolbox and pipes.
Another trailer was stolen from the Hume Freeway between 12pm on February 10 and 8pm on February 12.
The trailer had been left on the side of the freeway at Wandong due to mechanical issues. The trailer had no contents inside.
Road rage incident
Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage in relation to a road rage incident at about 12.50pm on February 13.
Two vehicles were travelling northbound on the Hume Freeway when they approached roadworks, and traffic came to a standstill.
It is understood the offender and victim were involved in a minor traffic collision before getting out of their vehicles to confront each other.
The offender allegedly pushed the victim onto the ground and stood over him.
The victim, a man in his 60s, hit his head on the ground.
