Armed Crime Squad detectives are investigating the shooting of a man in Wandong on Saturday.
Emergency services were called to reports of an injured man in Wandong Avenue about 12.15pm.
A Wandong man, 39, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined, however investigators believe the incident is not related to any other recent firearms incidents and it was a targeted incident.
Police attended local businesses on Sunday to check CCTV footage.
The investigation remains ongoing.
