Council has drafted a revised Landscape Master Plan for Kilmore Creek.
The aim of the plan is to update the landscape master plan for Kilmore Creek and establish a range of actions and capital improvements to guide future works throughout the creek corridor.
Earlier this year, council met with various community groups and government agencies, to gather input on defining the vision for the Draft Kilmore Creek Landscape Master Plan and the associated projects.
Council will test some of the draft actions and ideas to further understand what the community would like to see out of the masterplan and what people think of the draft.
People are invited to a drop-in session at the John Taylor Room at Kilmore Library on Thursday, September 19, from 1.30pm to 8pm.
To review the draft and submit feedback, people can visit www.engagingmitchellshire.com. Surveys close on October 7.
Mitchell Shire Mayor Bill Chisholm said the project was jointly funded by Mitchell Shire Council and Regional Development Victoria.
“Kilmore Creek is one of many great natural attractions Mitchell Shire has to offer and this draft masterplan will go a long way to enhancing the creek and surrounds for the benefit of community access,” he said.
