KERRIE Hall has had a successful weekend, holding its biennial art show to raise money for future plans, bills and maintenance.
The show was opened by artist Tim Murphy, who has a long history in art and is a Macedon Ranges local.
Friday’s opening night brought in a great crowd, who had first dibs on buying the art.
The show featured a wide range of art forms, from photography to sketching, acrylic, painting, textiles and pottery.

It also featured a new addition: a digital display of art from artists around the area.
Guests continued to come in throughout the weekend, taking advantage of the great weather to venture out into the Macedon Ranges.
Organisers were happy with the amount of art sold, considering the financial environment, and considered it a good year.
Organisers were also happy with the newly built deck, which saw plenty of use, and the number of people who supported the show.

The Macedon Ranges was booming with community events elsewhere as well, including the Riddell market, Romsey town-wide garage sale and the Lancefield Show.
