THE Kilmore Bowls Club held its first ever Pairs Tournament last Monday which saw 16 teams from across the state come and compete.
Heavy rain had affected the greens a couple of days prior, but that didn’t stop them from competing and having a successful day at the club.
Teams played three games against one another and by the end of it only three teams out of the 16 remained undefeated.
Lalor took first place with captain Seb Pretty leading Darren Morris to the Victory.
Brunswick took the runners-up position with Ethan Miller and Dan Grant finishing just above third place, who featured Ringwood’s Zac Woning and Ray Dalton.
The Bowls club were especially thankful to its sponsors who helped make the day an overall success and they are hopeful to make it a year round or more often tradition.
Kilmore Bowls Club are still hunting for a head coach to help it find success in the 2026-2027 season.
