This is no ordinary horse, Whisper can shake hands, bow and give you a kiss. She is 12 years old and 15.5 hands high.
Thank you to Kilmore resident Kerryn Downes for letting us take Whisper’s photo beside the beautiful Sunday Creek camping reserve in Broadford last month.
Ms Downes said: “Whisper wanted to go for a walk as she is recovering from wire caught around her feet, so I floated her up and brought her here”.
Previously, the mare was lovingly ridden and stabled at Riding for the Disabled in Viewbank. She has had about eight owners. Now, this gentle pinto has agistment at Willowmavin and along with her equine friends, she has also made a new home in the heart of Snowy; a chicken friend who pecks up anything that falls out of Whisper’s mouth.
