The Elms Retirement Village community, together with the support of family and friends, gathered for the Annual Cancer Council Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser.

Event co-ordinators, Michael Dunn and Marlene Gooding, led the volunteer team to the successful out come of raising $6200 for Cancer Council Victoria.

This year, a brunch theme was well received by all, especially as it was a cold wintery day outside.

Elms thanked a handful of donors of baked goods, raffle prizes and, importantly, to the volunteers.

A sought after meat tray to the value of $100 was kindly donated by resident Dawn Griffiths.

The support Elms received included local businesses such as Pat Croke, Dunlop, Booteek Shoes, Kilmore Nails, Hogan’s Hotel, Bendigo’s Julie-Anna, Chemist Discount Centre, London Mart, Izzy Belle, Caffeine Bar, Modern Car Care, Kilmore Florist/Rose Cafe, Kilmore Trackside, Woolworths, Celebrations, Direct Chemist Outlet, Zen Home and Just Me Patsy.
