The Review recently reached out to local schools in the area for students’ advice and opinions on what is important to them.
Students were asked questions such as ‘what makes you happy?’, ‘what is one thing everyone should do?’, ‘what do you think is most important?’, and ‘do you have any helpful advice for someone who needs it?’. Here are their answers – their ‘words of wisdom’.
Ava, age 10: Always remember to ask someone for help if you need it.
Bailey, age 8: Invite others to play when they are lonely.
Carter, age 9: Don’t expect something in return when you give something.
Charlie, age 7: Helping each other is important and so is sharing.
Clair, age 10: Make new friends by playing sport.
Emma, age 9: If you ever feel alone join in a game and make new friends.
Homma, age 9: When someone is getting bullied you should step in and help.
Jim, age 10: Stop polluting our world.
