Nexus Primary Health will be hosting a Smoking Ceremony and Welcome to Country this Wednesday, May 29.
The event will be held at Nexus Primary Health’s Broadford office from 10am onwards.
In a statement online, Nexus Primary Health extended an invitation to the community, noting the event’s importance.
“We would like to invite you to a special event being held at our Broadford Office: a Smoking Ceremony and Welcome to the Country held during National Reconciliation Week,” they said.
“This ceremony is of significant cultural importance and is to show our respect and acknowledgment of the traditional custodians of the land we work on.”
