THE CWA Central Highlands Group Creative Arts Exhibition is back at the Mechanic’s Institute in Lancefield next weekend, showcasing the regions craft and cookery skills.
Each year members from 11 branches that range from Craigieburn to Heathcote, and Gisborne to Romsey enter craft and cooking items for judging.
Creative arts convenor from Sunbury Stars branch, Bev Goodman, and her volunteers were eager to accept entries from members for the exhibition that welcome families, friends, and all communities in and around Macedon Ranges to visit the competitive spirit on show across 222 entry categories.
The exhibition also features home-style catering, with the branches offering morning and afternoon teas and lunch, as well as craft demonstrations, and raffles.
The announcement of winners and presentation of trophies will take place at 1.30pm on the Sunday.
Entry to the exhibition is $5, with children under 16 free at Lancefield Mechanics Institute, located 4 The Crescent, Lancefield.
Opening hours will be on April 29 and April 30 from 10am-4pm.
