A range of interactive activities will be on offer for the City of Whittlesea’s World Environment Day celebrations from 11am to 3pm on Sunday, June 5.

The free festival, at Lauries Field in Brookwood Avenue, Doreen, will feature activities and shows including building a bug hotel, a Ninja Warrior course, and spending time with native wildlife to learn about nature and the environment, all while embracing the global theme, ‘Only One Earth’.

Visitors can learn more about the environment and the ways they can help protect and restore the planet.

A barbecue by local Scouts groups will be available for a gold coin donation, with people encouraged to brink reusable cups for hot drinks.
