Macedon Ranges Photographic Society will host an exhibition titled ‘Magnificent Macedon Ranges’ this weekend at Dromkeen, Riddells Creek.
The exhibition, at Dromkeen Conference Centre on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, will showcase a range of photographs that have been taken in and around the Macedon Ranges Shire to highlight the best of what the region has to offer.
The exhibition will be open free of charge and will prompt visitors to wonder about the locations, subjects and inspiration behind the images
There will be a selection of 50 prints and more than 150 digital projected images.
The audio visual digital presentation will use the latest 4K laser projection technology for ultra-high resolution, giving a quality rendition of the photographic images.
The 15-minute presentation will be made available online to view on the club’s website during March and April.

The opening night of the exhibition will be on Friday, from 7pm until 9pm.
On Saturday, the exhibition will run from 10am until 4pm, with the opportunity to meet the artists and discuss their images, techniques and inspiration from 2pm onwards. Sunday will be the final day of the exhibition and will run from 10am until 2pm.
The exhibition will be at the Dromkeen conference centre, where members and visitors regularly meet for monthly club nights.
The venue is located at 1012 Kilmore Road, Riddells Creek, with plenty of parking available at the rear of property adjacent to the conference centre.
