Mitchell residents will now have increased access to support services after Nexus’ extensive redevelopment of its Broadford office.
The revamped office, at 72 Ferguson Street, will mean the site has dedicated GP consulting rooms, as well as rooms for pathology, nurse treatment and allied health spaces including podiatry and hand therapy.
“We also have dedicated consulting spaces for children’s services with state-of-the-art technology for clinicians and their clients to utilise in order to obtain the best results for the community,” chief executive Amanda Mullins said.
“Our new expanded space also incorporates two large spaces to allow for group exercise, social support activities and specific support services for men.”
Nexus will continue to provide services to the community, including; a medical clinic for nursing services and pathology; children’s occupational therapy, dietetics and speech therapy; adult’s physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetics and speech therapy; podiatry and wound clinics; hand therapy; social support activities; and counselling and family support services.
