SPECIAL guests, new studio settings, plus top-class musicians and giveaways are all on the horizon for Wallan-based promoter Benjamin Gregory, as he introduces his new series.
Mr Gregory, also known as Benny Gregs, has teamed up with Telstra to deliver a show ‘unlike any other’ during the lockdown period.
“Couch sessions are back and bigger than ever before. With 23 incredible artists, a team of six and an incredible live band we have upped the production value,” he said.
“Shooting and live-streaming from my Mitchell Shire homestead, it is a show our community don’t want to miss.
“We have special guests, new studio settings, upcoming artists and giveaways, all supported by the incredible team from Telstra stores Craigieburn, Plenty Valley and Wallan.
“Telstra got in touch with me a few weeks ago and our visions aligned. The Telstra stores sponsoring this four-part show during lockdown 2.0.”
But the show has had its challenges, according to Mr Gregory.
“It has been quite a challenge speaking, rehearsing and collaborating with the 35-plus people that put on this show, however, we have been greatly supported by Telstra stores and our incredible local partners AllyGrecoMusic, AmberRayne Music, Martello Productions and the Slips,” he said.
“We have so many incredible artists not just from local Mitchell but all over Victoria.
“We have rock artists, country artists, blues artists, jazz artists, pop artists and so many more.
“We have had some incredible highlights so far, like our interview coming up with the incredible voice star MASHA, who was the winner of The Voice Armenia.
“We also have loved working with all of the artists, giving them free mentors sessions, personal development workshops and a platform so that they can shine and show people who they are.”
